Condition. Works done include:
 
1992.  Last NOS differential sourced in the US.
1993.  Retrofiitted with 1952 power steering unit
1990s. New roof and matching top boot cover in dark green fabric. Only Rolls-  
            Royce fabric available at the time!
1990s. Engine rebored following oil overfilling. Hardened valve seats fitted.
1990s. Exterior re-chromed
2000.  Roof mechanism re-chromed and re-bushed
2000.  Body re-sprayed
2000.  Some interior fabric restoration
2000.  New carpets
2000. Auxiliary 12 volt radio/battery and charging fitted. Will also run 12v
          wipers (supplied but not fitted.)
2003. Brand new (NOS) differential fitted.
2021. Gearbox rebuilt
2021. New ignition electrics
2022. New brakes
2023. Some minor chromework.
2024. New front window hydraulic cylinders replaced.
2025. July. Two new rear brake cylinders and one brake hose fitted.
2025. Aug. New exhaust system
2025  Aug. New battery
2026 June.  Electric fuel pump.
2026  May. Front bumper re-chromed
2026  July.  Total body re-spray 

 
Needing to be done,
 
* Front "moustache" will need replacing one day. Bit hard to find right now.
* Rear bumper is dinged on one side and needs re-chroming.
* VACUUM windscreen wiper needs fixing OR replace with NEW 12 volt ELECTRIC windshield wiper.  Auxiliary 12 volt radio/battery and alternator fitted in 2000.
*  Minor cosmetic work needed inside.
*  Some small part re-chroming here and there needed.
 
Otherwise mechanically, all good.

I am the owner – since 1988 - of Betsy, the 1952 Buick convertible
Well, Betsy is now retired and we are looking for a new keeper for this wonderful vehicle. During her time she married many celebrities in and around London and even collected an emerging Take That from the Top Of The Pops studios in Elstree after their first appearance on TV.  Then there were the film premieres and openings. 20 years worth in all.
